Bunny Hill
Located at the bottom of the mountain, our bunny hill (also called the beginner area) is a gentle, low-slope section of the ski hill designed for beginners, especially those learning to ski or snowboard for the first time.
A very mild incline to help beginners practice balance, stopping, and turning without picking up too much speed.
A rope tow to help newcomers get back up the hill easily.
Groomed surface to reduce the risk of injury.
Beginner-friendly obstacles like small bumps to help with skill progression.
Ski instructors offering lessons nearby.
It’s the best place to build confidence before moving on to green runs!

Pokey
Pokey is a beginner-friendly trail designed for those who have moved beyond the bunny hill but are still developing their skills.
Gentle slopes with a mild gradient (less than 25% or around 6–10 degrees).
Wide, open spaces to allow for easy turns and control.
Smooth, well-groomed snow to reduce obstacles and make skiing more predictable.
Minimal hazards with fewer trees, rocks, or steep drops compared to more advanced runs.
Gradual turns rather than sharp or technical sections.
Clearly marked signage with a green circle to indicate the run’s difficulty level.
Pokey is perfect for beginners practicing turns, stopping, and controlling speed before progressing to more challenging runs.
In one section, just as you pass Pokey Park, the incline increases and would be considered a Blue level. If you would like to avoid this section, look for a sign saying “Easier Way” on the right to bring you to Hailey’s, another Green level.

Banked Slalom

Banked Turns: Steep, curved walls of snow that help riders maintain speed and flow through the course.
Gates or Markers: Riders must pass between designated gates, similar to traditional slalom courses.
Fast & Technical: Unlike traditional slalom, which is more about edge control on flat ground, banked slalom requires fluid transitions and quick reactions.
Timed Competition: Riders race against the clock, with the fastest time determining the winner.
It’s a favourite among snowboarders and skiers looking for a mix of racing and freeride-style carving.
